Executive Business Partner, Engineering

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an Executive Business Partner to support our Director of Engineering at Lyft. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. You will be responsible for handling the calendar of the executive, coordinating events and meetings for the broader team, and streamlining hectic days. You will enjoy working in an energetic environment and be incredibly organized, a true team-player, and able to build strong relationships. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Executive Business Partner, your responsibilities will include: Complex calendar management and meeting coordination Serving as a team expert and go-to person for business related to your department and executive Preparing presentation materials and briefs for team meetings Project managing tasks to ensure completion of action items Keeping relevant team members informed and refining communications throughout the company Assisting with booking travel, including airline, hotel booking, and visas Partnering with Office and IT teams to ensure teams have appropriate resources Budget and expense management Planning team building events and keeping a pulse on culture and team morale Reporting to the Director of Engineering WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 2 years of relevant experience Excellent communication and collaboration skills Incredibly detail-oriented with a creative working style The ability to take even the smallest project and run with it to successful completion A growth mindset and passion for Lyft and the ridesharing community WHY REMOTE While this role will be based in the office on a hybrid schedule, with the option to work from home up to 4 weeks per year, we are open to considering remote candidates. You will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and still be an integral part of our team.
