ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our team of Software Engineers in delivering highly-available products at scale. As an Engineering Manager at Calendly, you will work directly with our Senior Director of Engineering, partnering closely with product, design, data, security, and go-to-market stakeholders to define and deliver the roadmap for new Scheduling products. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Manager at Calendly, you will have the chance to mentor and grow some of the best and brightest engineers in the world. Your responsibilities will include leading agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done, coaching, mentoring, and onboarding new engineering team members, identifying future technical needs and creating plans to meet them, providing feedback and guidance to help us continuously grow and scale, and hiring engineers to build out both new and existing squads for the company. You will also work on products and services aimed at simplifying scheduling for millions of users. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 3+ years experience managing a team of Software Engineers, 5+ years of overall development experience, ideally using TypeScript, Node.js, and React, experience driving the adoption of AI-powered tools and workflows to help improve engineering team productivity, collaboration, and delivery efficiency in an AI-first organization, deep proficiency with distributed / data-oriented application development and SaaS, experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects, previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution, excellent communication skills, and experience leading Agile / Scrum ceremonies. BENEFITS Calendly offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary, Top Performer Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits. The base salary for this role is between $232,626 and $281,888 USD per year, depending on your location and experience.
