Engineering Manager, Global Public Sector

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our International Public Sector team at Scale. This role is critical in shaping the future of AI in the public sector, enabling governments to transform their operations and better serve citizens through cutting-edge technology. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the engineering team and driving technical delivery. You will design, build, and optimize backend services for advanced AI-driven applications, focusing on AI agents, evaluation tooling, and automation. You will work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production, building features end-to-end, system design, debugging, and testing. You will also deliver experiments at a high velocity and level of quality to engage our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new product features and experiences. You will influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team, inspiring and mentoring engineers to achieve their best. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Ideally, you will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years of experience managing backend engineers. You will have a proven track record of leading, managing, and developing high-performing engineering teams. You will have expertise in identifying product engagement patterns and trends for large-scale consumer products and a track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
