Engineering Manager, Enterprise

As an Engineering Manager for the Enterprise pillar, you will play a critical role in making our AI system, Claude, enterprise-ready at scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Engineering Manager for Enterprise, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building out features and foundational systems that make Claude suitable for large organizations. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and developing a team of engineers to build enterprise-ready features and foundations for Claude - Owning engineering execution, from planning and prioritization to delivery quality, team health, and incident response - Partnering with engineering teams across the company to ensure that the platforms we build are extensible and easy to adopt - Collaborating with sales and customer success on enterprise deals, understanding customer requirements, and representing engineering in key conversations - Shaping the product roadmap with product and design teams, not just executing against it - Driving compliance and platform-readiness work required by customers, in partnership with security and legal teams - Recruiting, onboarding, and growing strong engineers, providing direct feedback, and building a healthy, high-performing team WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - At least 4 years of experience as an engineering manager, preferably in enterprise SaaS, cloud services, or admin tools - The ability to execute at a fast pace to meet the expectations of our customers - A detail-oriented and quality-focused approach, as our customers rely on Claude for critical workflows - Comfort working with enterprise customers, alongside sales and customer success teams - Experience as a skilled engineering manager who treats management as a craft, providing clear feedback, strong 1:1s, and consistent investment in team growth WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and growing organization.
