Engineering Manager, Destinations

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a talented, curious, and motivated engineering manager to lead our engineering team that manages our 300+ destination integrations. This role involves a mix of leadership and hands-on engineering, focusing on delivering customer value quickly while mentoring and guiding the team to continuously raise the bar. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an engineering manager, you'll lead the team by example, raise the bar for technical execution, and ensure the team is focusing on the highest-value deliverables. You'll be responsible for prioritizing requests for new destinations and functionality, balancing immediate needs with long-term business strategy and engineering improvements. You'll also work on optimizing sync speed, leveraging parallelism, batching, rate-limit detection, and algorithmic optimizations to maximize performance. Additionally, you'll explore how rapid advances in AI can help ship faster and with higher quality. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you should be a leader who values excellence, is passionate about mentoring newer engineers, and is looking for a blend of hands-on development with people leadership. You should be able to reason from first principles about problems, be constantly curious, and form clear opinions about ambiguous problems while communicating with clarity. Experience building and scaling a platform with hundreds of API integrations is a plus. WHY REMOTE We're a remote-first company, and this role is location-independent. BENEFITS The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $400,000 USD per year, which is location-independent. We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options, with early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.
