Engineering Manager - Data Platform Connect

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform Connect team at Clari + Salesloft. As a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing team in India, you will play a pivotal role in realizing our company's vision and delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade applications. You will be responsible for championing product delivery, owning the technical roadmap, and leading a team of software engineers to build solutions and capabilities at scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Engineering Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Championing product delivery in a fast-paced startup with a deep focus on quality, design, and architecture - Owning the technical roadmap for a product - Hiring and providing leadership and oversight to a team of software engineers - Recruiting the best talent by owning the recruitment processes for your teams - Engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver on a common goal - Driving the adoption of key engineering best practices to improve the quality and reliability of the team's deliverables - Keeping the team engaged, motivated, and operating with high execution velocity - Evaluating, coaching, and mentoring direct reports - Collaborating and communicating across global businesses and technology teams, providing sound business analysis and process - Building a collaborative and conducive environment for the team to deliver their best work WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 3+ years of managerial experience leading and building high-performing teams - 10+ years of professional experience using Java or similar object-oriented language - Demonstrated ability to manage highly skilled technology teams that have delivered high-quality enterprise-class applications - Experience in managing applications in a production environment that support high-throughput/availability/resiliency low latency at scale and exposure to managing production outages and remediations - Experience building and using RESTful APIs and Microservices - Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills - Great product sense and communication skills WHY REMOTE This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Bengaluru, India office as needed.
