Engineering Manager, Access Management

WHAT YOU'LL DO As a member of the Internal Identity Team, you will be responsible for protecting Stripe by providing primitives that enable secure user access at Stripe. You will lead large technical projects with internal and external dependencies, collaborating with stakeholders to socialize security best practices. Your team will build the platforms and tools that enable system and resource owners to implement core authentication and authorization primitives in their own services. You will also mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a proven track record of building and managing scalable, resilient, and observable systems. You should have a strong technical background in engineering leadership, with excellence in building high-availability infrastructure. You will also need the ability to lead large technical projects, balance technical debt reduction with feature development and operational excellence, and communicate effectively across teams.
