ABOUT THE ROLE The Interaction Design Foundation is the world’s largest online platform for design and AI education, empowering more than a million learners across 100 countries. As an Education Designer for UX, UI and AI, you will shape the learning experience that transforms novices into confident practitioners and helps seasoned designers stay at the cutting edge of AI. Your work will be seen by industry leaders, academic partners, and corporate teams that trust IxDF to deliver high‑impact training. You will collaborate with co‑founders, course directors, and external experts such as Don Norman, Vitaly Friedman, and senior leaders from Netflix, LinkedIn, Meta and Adobe. Your influence will span the entire course lifecycle—from defining learning outcomes and sequencing content to designing exercises, templates and assessments that guide learners from confusion to competence. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Define clear, measurable learning objectives for each course and Master Class. - Design modular lesson plans that balance depth and accessibility for a diverse, global audience. - Create engaging, AI‑enhanced activities that illustrate human‑centered design principles. - Collaborate with video, editorial and growth teams to translate curriculum into polished, on‑screen content. - Iterate on course structure based on learner feedback and analytics to continuously improve impact. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Proven experience designing or teaching design or AI courses to hundreds of learners, with a portfolio of curriculum or workshop artifacts. - Deep understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, human‑computer interaction, and emerging AI tools that shape design practice. - Strong narrative skills to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable learning paths. - Ability to work cross‑functionally with subject‑matter experts, editors, and developers in a fast‑moving, low‑bureaucracy environment. - Excellent communication, project management and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
