Digital Customer Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet. As a Digital Customer Engineer, you will be part of the Customer Engineering organization, working side-by-side with Sales teams to guide customers through their digital transformation. You will be a trusted advisor, helping prospects and customers connect Cloudflare's platform to real-world outcomes. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Digital Customer Engineer, you will lead technical discovery and validation across a high volume of pre-sales opportunities, drive scaled onboarding for new customers, and run 1:many adoption and consumption programs to help customers get more value from Cloudflare. You will translate complex technical capabilities into clear outcome-driven solutions, develop and maintain reusable demo assets, and stay current on Cloudflare products, Internet technologies, and the competitive landscape. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 3+ years of experience in a technical presales, solutions engineering, consulting, or related role. You will have strong knowledge of Internet fundamentals, experience with Zero Trust frameworks, SASE architectures, or cloud security platforms, and hands-on experience with scripting or development. You will also be comfortable engaging customers directly, using modern productivity and AI tools to scale personal output across a high volume of accounts.
