ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join Stripe's Global Growth teams. As a Data Scientist at Stripe, you will play a key role in designing and shipping experiments, identifying improvement opportunities, and optimizing the self-serve user funnel to ensure a consistently high-quality onboarding experience for users globally. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results, communicate complex analyses clearly, and drive business impact. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Data Scientist on our Global Growth teams, you will be responsible for: - Designing and shipping experiments to drive business growth and improvement - Identifying opportunities to optimize the self-serve user funnel and onboarding experience - Analyzing data to understand user needs, behavior, and preferences - Developing and deploying machine learning and statistical models to inform business decisions - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results and drive business impact WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be considered for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree plus 8 years, a Master's degree plus 6 years, or a PhD plus 3 years of data science or quantitative modeling experience - Proficiency in SQL and a computing language such as Python or R - Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver results - Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and drive business impact - Strong business acumen and experience synthesizing complex analyses into actionable recommendations - Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate model development, analysis, and coding WHY REMOTE As a remote employee at Stripe, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and be part of a global team that is passionate about increasing the GDP of the internet.
