Data Center Engineer II

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer II to join our team at Adyen, a leading financial technology platform. As a Data Center Engineer II, you will play a critical role in driving the end-to-end asset and lifecycle management of our data center assets, ensuring precise documentation, and collaborating with global teams to support day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Data Center Engineer II, you will be responsible for leading the rollout of new data centers and large-scale expansion projects, including High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters deployment, managing the data center footprint in the USA, designing and engineering critical infrastructure, and overseeing the full equipment journey from purchase to decommissioning. You will also be responsible for supply chain and logistics coordination, data integrity and DCIM management, cross-functional transition, maintenance and technical oversight, vendor and stakeholder management, hands-on field operations, and operational strategy. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in data center engineering and operations, proven experience in designing and delivering data center infrastructure, hands-on experience managing modern environments, strong project management capabilities, exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience in DCIM and asset management on a large scale.
