Data Analyst, Macro Analytics

ABOUT THE ROLE Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, providing a range of services to help companies accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. As a Data Analyst, Macro Analytics, you will play a critical role in helping Stripe drive company-wide initiatives and make data-driven decisions. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will partner with teams across Stripe to extract insights from complex data and build models, data products, and dashboards to inform business decisions. You will work closely with leaders to translate business needs into data problems and deliver actionable business insights through analyses and data storytelling. Your responsibilities will include: - Building analytics and observability frameworks for Stripe's financial position - Investigating macro signals and developing analytical frameworks to inform financial planning and strategic decisions - Developing targeted observability and performance analytics for both standard and event-driven environments - Understanding and leveraging Stripe's data assets to analyze financial performance and develop scalable data foundations - Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to build data pipelines, models, and infrastructure - Supporting ongoing reporting, stakeholder communications, and information requests WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 3-6 years of experience in Data Research & Analysis, Risk Modeling & Analysis, Business Intelligence and Data Engineering - Proficiency in SQL and Python - Strong statistical knowledge and business intuition - Ability to clearly communicate results and drive impact - Experience in analytics in FinTech, banking, investment management, corporate finance, treasury, or financial services - Expertise in visualization and using data insights to make recommendations and achieve goals - Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail - Comfortable collaborating across functions to identify data analytics problems and execute solutions WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and be part of a vibrant community of data analysts, data scientists, and engineers.
