Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE Stripe is building the financial infrastructure that powers the internet, enabling businesses of all sizes to accept payments, grow revenue, and unlock new opportunities. The Worldwide Alliances and Channels team is at the heart of this mission, cultivating a global network of platform partners that extend Stripe’s reach into new markets and verticals. As a Communities Partner Development Manager for the Americas, you will be the key driver of partner growth, ensuring that Stripe’s ecosystem of platforms and independent software vendors (ISVs) is fully integrated, engaged, and profitable. Your work will directly influence the speed at which merchants and developers can bring Stripe’s capabilities to their customers, accelerating the overall impact of the platform. WHAT YOU’LL DO You will identify, qualify, and manage a portfolio of platform partners across the Americas, working closely with regional sales, engineering, and product teams to enable seamless integration and joint go‑to‑market initiatives. You will design and execute partner enablement programs, co‑sell playbooks, and marketing campaigns that empower partners to sell Stripe solutions effectively. You will conduct regular business reviews, analyze performance metrics, and develop data‑driven recommendations to optimize revenue and partner satisfaction. You will negotiate high‑value deals with C‑level stakeholders, ensuring alignment of objectives and clear value propositions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—program, marketing, and sales—to deliver partner events, webinars, and joint sales engagements that drive pipeline growth. You will report on partner health, pipeline, and revenue impact to senior leadership, using a diagnostic approach to surface insights and opportunities for improvement. WHAT YOU’LL NEED You bring at least eight years of partnership or sales experience in high‑tech or financial services, with a proven track record of managing platform or ISV relationships that deliver measurable revenue growth. You possess deep knowledge of payment and financial‑services technology, industry trends, and competitive dynamics. You are comfortable negotiating complex, high‑value agreements with executive audiences and influencing outcomes across multiple functions. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, an organized, self‑starter mindset, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments while maintaining focus on key priorities. A bachelor’s degree and willingness to travel for partner events and meetings are required. Experience in the payments industry and a passion for building communities of developers and merchants are highly desirable. WHY REMOTE Stripe’s remote culture is built on asynchronous collaboration, trust, and flexibility. Teams across the globe operate on overlapping hours, enabling real‑time communication when needed while allowing individuals to structure their day around personal and professional commitments. Remote work empowers you to balance high‑impact responsibilities with a healthy work‑life rhythm, supported by a robust digital infrastructure that keeps you connected to colleagues, partners, and customers no matter where you are. The distributed model also expands your reach, allowing you to engage partners across time zones and cultures with ease. BENEFITS Stripe offers comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as mental‑health resources. You receive a generous paid time off policy, flexible holidays, and a remote stipend to support home‑office setup. A dedicated learning budget and access to industry conferences, courses, and internal knowledge hubs foster continuous growth. Competitive salary, equity, and performance bonuses reward your contributions to Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
