AI Tech Partner Lead

WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of AI models that power real‑time product insights and predictive analytics. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic AI technology partners, negotiating technical agreements and ensuring seamless integration into Amplitude’s platform. - Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and platform engineers to translate business requirements into robust AI architectures. - Champion best practices for data governance, model interpretability, and ethical AI across the organization. - Drive cross‑functional workshops and technical demos to educate internal stakeholders and external partners on AI capabilities. - Monitor performance metrics, conduct post‑deployment reviews, and iterate on models to maintain high accuracy and relevance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI/ML, preferably within a SaaS or analytics environment. - Proven track record of building and scaling production‑grade AI systems, including experience with large‑scale data pipelines, model serving, and monitoring. - Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, including experience negotiating technical agreements and managing partner relationships. - Strong command of Python, SQL, and at least one major ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar). - Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and influencing executive stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a distributed team, prioritizing tasks and driving results with minimal supervision.
