AI Engagement Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking an AI Engagement Manager to join our Enterprise Solutions team at Instacart, a company transforming the grocery industry by providing essential services to customers and safe, flexible earnings opportunities to our shoppers. As a key member of our Enterprise AI Pod, you will be responsible for driving the operational backbone of complex AI engagements with B2B retail and CPG partners. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the AI Engagement Manager, you will own the full AI engagement arc, from discovery through sustained workflow adoption. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving requirements and delivery precision by shaping engagement structure, aligning on objectives, and translating partner needs into a clear execution plan - Championing continuous quality by overseeing testing and feedback loops to ensure the platform is performing against real partner workflows and tracking adoption progress - Holding the R&D feedback loop by ensuring field learnings flow back to R&D and that R&D delivers on agreed roadmap commitments - Building playbooks by identifying reusable patterns across engagements and turning them into scalable delivery frameworks - Owning engagement economics by tracking the full cost structure of every active engagement and maintaining a running view of cost-to-deliver across the portfolio WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - 8+ years of experience in technical project management, enterprise engagement management, or a related field, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs end to end to external enterprise clientele - Demonstrated experience managing programs across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition and scoping, build, test, and launch - Technical fluency sufficient to hold credible conversations with partner engineering teams and understand AI/ML implementations and integration dependencies - Experience building and maintaining engagement cost models, tracking resource utilization, time allocation, and cost inputs across concurrent programs - Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills, paired with a sharp attention to both details and overarching project objectives WHY REMOTE At Instacart, we value flexibility and offer a Flex First approach to work.
