Exuma Operator

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Exuma Operator to join our team at Seven Seas Water Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our water treatment and desalination facilities. You will work closely with our team to monitor and maintain the mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and make decisions on minor process changes. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Exuma Operator, your primary responsibilities will include: - Taking shifts of full responsibility for monitoring plant operations - Starting and stopping equipment as necessary - Making adjustments to the process as directed - Using daily checklists to record plant data and reporting data as required - Making daily observations of equipment and process to ensure safe and correct operation - Reporting any improper working equipment or unsafe situations to supervisors - Replacing consumable products and taking company-provided training courses in environmental health and safety - Engaging in preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment service and repair, and other tasks as directed WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Significant related experience or significant technical education in related fields - Ability to gain a thorough understanding of the process, including knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and reporting skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to take company-provided training courses and comply with safe working practices WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a better work-life balance.
