As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our automated warehouse systems, material handling equipment, and fleet of autonomous vehicles run safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to develop preventive maintenance plans, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support our mission to deliver speed, reliability, and precision to customers worldwide. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, robotic pickers, and forklifts. - Conduct root‑cause analysis on equipment failures, document findings, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute major equipment upgrades, retrofits, and decommissioning projects. - Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and performance metrics in the CMMS, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. - Mentor junior technicians and provide training on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics to identify trends and recommend process enhancements. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance of industrial warehouse equipment or logistics fleet operations. - Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation components. - Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a proven track record of reducing equipment downtime. - Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable maintenance strategies. - Effective communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non‑technical stakeholders and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
