ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join our team at Ridleys SA, a growing family business that has been servicing the Murray Bridge area since 1975. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of plant and machinery, carrying out civil and domestic work, and assisting plumbers and operators. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Plant Operator, your primary responsibilities will include: - Operating a range of plant and machinery, including excavators, skid steers, and backhoes - Carrying out daily pre-start checks and maintaining equipment in good working order - Working to plans and levels to complete tasks efficiently and effectively - Digging trenches and assisting with civil and domestic work - Collaborating with plumbers and operators to achieve project goals - Maintaining a safe working culture and adhering to all safety protocols WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Relevant experience and qualifications in plant operation, including tickets for excavators, skid steers, and backhoes - A valid White card and current driver's license - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team and maintain a safe working culture - Experience with operating a variety of plant and machinery WHY REMOTE Unfortunately, this role does not involve remote work, as it requires on-site operation of plant and machinery.
